One day, I’ll tell you my Blotto stories… but for now, back to the comment repairs.

Blotto was huge in Albany when I was at grad school. Like the Ramones, they all had the same (fake) last name so you’d see one of them always popping up in the local news–“Broadway Blotto was at the opening of the new “Vinyl Forever” record store–” that sort of thing. They were great.
Very funny videos. Have you found my comics yet?

Wow – talk about a flashback! Wasn’t Broadway your English teacher? I remember watching him sing at The Printer’s Devil on Thursday nights – good times!
Thanks for the memories – I just became 17 again!
There was a Sony “Video Single” of thses videos Way Back When.
Two points about “Metal Head”: MTV actually used clips from the video to promote their “Headbangers’ Ball” metal program; apprently they figured the viewers wouldn’t realise they were form a piss take.
The guitar solo is by guest artist Donald “Buck Dharma” Roesser of Blue Oyster Cult (i think that’s him in a couple of cutaways in the video).
