I've had as much fun as the next guy with the sad spectacle of Ms. Spears but it's gotten kind of seriously sad lately. Watching one young person after another grow up famous and get chewed up and spit out in Hollywood has become a blood sport. People used to tell us we should get our oldest daughter into modeling; thank God we didn't.
Kinda sad to watch her disintegrate in public. I never claimed to be a fan, nor did I consider her the most gifted singer to scratch vinyl, but this is just sad.

Wow, someone else who makes the same mistake I do! I always say "drapes match the curtains" instead of "the carpet"...Bill Mulligan (8:37 AM on Wed Feb 21, 2007)

I agree with Bill. Most of us who had the misfortune of a mental breakdown in our early 20's at least had the fortune of doing so privately.Manny Panning (11:31 PM on Thu Feb 22, 2007)
