Robert Parker's Spenser in a young adult novel? The adventures of Spenser when he was a boy? Ooooookay...

Bizarre idea, but we know some of the stories of when Spenser was a kid - including the bear story - from an earlier book - "Pastime", i think.

BTW: When i come here by following the links at the top of ComocMix pages, it breaks the ComicMix link chain.

I might be misremembering, but don't the early novels peg him as a Korean War vet? So he was a YA during WWII...
