Everyone says stupid things from time to time–we’ve certainly ribbed you often enough about some of yours. 🙂 The difference here is simply that he is under watch 24/7 and anything he says gets broadcast around the world. If we’d had the same technology in Lincoln’s day I’m sure we’d have some real hooters from him as well. Just putting things in perspective.
I don’t think he’s “flipping the bird”, so to speak. I think he is making a thumbs up gesture, but from the rear it looks like he’s making an obscene gesture.
I am no fan of President Bush but I don’t think he did this. Watch the footage again.
I couldn’t get the link to take me anything other than the crooks and Liars home page and I could see no video of Bush. I saw this on the web a few days ago and the website later admitted it was just a “thumbs up” that, in a few frames, looked like a bird flip.
If that’s the case, yeah, very embarassing, though not to Bush. Silly, silly Bush bashers…
