But it’s the wrong direction. One of the towers should be 229 feet 4 inches taller than it was, not shorter.
Gah, no. No more tall monstrosities that blight the neighborhood. The WTC was an eyesore when it was built in the first place, and just because it was destroyed by terrorists is no excuse to rebuild it. Unfortunately we don’t have a choice, it’s in the insurance contract that it MUST be rebuilt, and that’s the main reason we’re not going to get what we ought to have instead, a sunlit memorial green space.
