I like teachers. I respect them. My parents were both teachers. I’ve learned a lot from them. They work long hours with bratty kids for little pay.

But then there are those that really go above and beyond: 4th grade teacher Patricia Donohue is giving her kidney to her sick student.

To quote Keith Olbermann from Countdown, where I first heard this story, “And you thought you had a great teacher.”
